The Forager’s Feast
an all day foraging experience and shared wild meal
We are excited to announce a brand new workshop inspired by years of listening to wild walkers who want to dig a little deeper into their foraging experience.
Sharing a meal from wild edibles is among the oldest human activities, yet it’s a rare experience in modern times.
Join us for an all-day adventure foraging in some wild and urban places around Columbia.
During this workshop we will:
- learn about and harvest common wild edibles
- harvest wild plants for healthy delicious herbal tea
- talk about medicinal uses for some wild plants we find
- talk about the ethics and safety of foraging wild edibles
- sit down to a meal we’ve prepared together from the day’s wild harvest blended with some locally produced ingredients.
- spend the day getting to know our fellow foragers
