Permaculture Experience Course
Permaculture is a design strategy that applies ecosystem dynamics to human-made systems to provide for human needs in a way that is harmonious with nature. Well developed permaculture systems have the stability, productivity and resilience of a natural ecosystem. Permaculture has been described as a "revolution disguised as gardening" that starts in your backyard and expands to have global implications. Its principles can be integrated into all aspects of our lives.
This course is:
- For those who want to dive more deeply than a weekend or one day course into how to use permaculture design in daily life and in the landscape.
- For those who want an immersion in permaculture before seeking a full certification course
- For those who aren’t pursuing training as a professional designer but want to get started now with using permaculture principles.
- Two intensive weekends
- An exploration of environmental and social dimensions of the design principles and ethical framework of Permaculture.
- For hands on learners who want to be involved in projects that regenerate the land, close energy and waste loops and build community.
